14kW EV Liquid Cooling Loop
Design, simulation, and testing of a 14.2 kW-capacity liquid cooling system for Columbia’s Formula SAE EV25 race car. I developed a dual-radiator, closed-loop architecture to manage ~5 kW from the Emrax 208 motor and ~2 kW from the PM100DX inverter (per unit). Using MATLAB-based heat load models, CFD, and benchtop tests, we sized 95 in² radiators for 7.1 kW rejection each at 5 m/s airflow.
